We would formally like to introduce Aussie Divers Phuket's new Chinese Scuba Diving Instructor, Lansy Wong.
Originally from Henan Province in China and relocated to Hong Kong in 2011. She was working in the insurance industry before she moved to Phuket to become a PADI Pro.
Lansy did her PADI Divemaster Course and PADI Instructor Development Course with Aussie Divers Phuket. She has been trained the the highest standards available with the great team at Aussie Divers Phuket. She did her PADI Instructor Development Course with PADI Gold Course Director Darren Gaspari.

Hailing from Denmark in the cold north of Europe, Scuba Instructor Martin Ruhoff began his love of scuba diving more than a decade ago in Ao Nang Thailand. As with most of us he caught the scuba diving bug and has never looked back. He has now been scuba diving instructor in Phuket Thailand for almost ten years. He has been a loved member of the Aussie Divers Phuket team for more than seven years now.

From Helsingborg, Sweden Scuba Instructor Andre Engstrom and left in 2010 as he needed to find a warmer climate to work.
In Sweden Andre worked on a boat between Sweden and Denmark where he served ice cold beers for the passengers. He has allways loved the sea so it was pretty easy to adjust to the life as an instructor.
Andre is unique in the sense that most instructors have fallen in love with scuba diving. Andre actually fell in love with a girl that fell in love with scuba diving and he just tagged along. She has long gone but Andre is still here.

Book now for the 2021-2022 Similan Island Liveaboard Season as it is fast approaching. It is the perfect time to plan and book now your dive trip for 2021/2022.
As many scuba divers know the Similan Islands are currently closed and should be re-opening around the 15th October. Due to COVID travel restrictions soem liveaboard operatiors will not start until December.

Low Season Diving in Phuket
Here is a blog on low season (monsoon season or wet season) scuba diving in Phuket.
Firstly don't always believe the online weather forecast's. With the high humidity, we have year round in Phuket. A lot of the online weather sites & App's will simply predict thunderstorms & rain 365 days of the year. They are happy to get this correct maybe 40% of the time.....
We actually still have some very nice sunny days during the monsoonal season. The diving can still be really good. Also the beaches are less crowded and airfares & accommodation much cheaper. Its sounding like a win-win all round!
