The site has a prolific amount of marine life and is home to turtles, Leopard Sharks, Cuttlefish, Seahorses, sea snakes, a wide range of eels including the rare zebra moray. The fish life is exquisite with large numbers of Barracuda, snappers, groupers, butterfly fish, Scropionfish, travelly, angelfish and of course plenty of Anemone fish.

Because it can be hampered by strong currents and at times this visibility is less than the regions average it is not always suitable for beginner divers but with some careful planning it can be dived by any level.

Anemone Reef is approximately 2 hours boat ride from Chalong Bay, Phuket and is commonly dived as a part of a three dive day in combination with the Phi Phi Islands, Shark Point, King Cruiser Wreck and Koh Doc Mai.

It is one of the must do sites when planning scuba diving in Phuket.
