The Premium Dive Boat Experience with Aussie Divers Phuket

From November 1st, 2024, Aussie Divers Phuket proudly welcomed a new addition to our operation, the premium dive boat MV Kebsup.

Previously operated by Local Dive Thailand, MV Kebsup now runs under the Aussie Divers Phuket banner, bringing together our signature level of professionalism, diver safety, customer service, and premium diving experiences in Phuket.

For divers looking to avoid overcrowded boats and enjoy a more relaxed day on the water, MV Kebsup offers a completely different style of diving day trip in Phuket.

A Premium Dive Boat in Phuket

Over recent years, many Phuket dive boats have shifted toward larger shared operations, with some vessels carrying 60–80 divers or more onboard.

At Aussie Divers Phuket, we believe diving should feel personal, comfortable, and enjoyable, not overcrowded.

That’s why MV Kebsup operates with smaller groups, typically accommodating around 30–40 divers including staff. As a result, our guests enjoy:

  • More space onboard
  • Faster and easier dive coordination
  • Smaller dive groups
  • A calmer atmosphere between dives
  • More personal interaction with instructors and guides
  • A smoother overall diving experience

Whether you are completing a PADI course or joining certified fun dives, smaller numbers make a huge difference to the quality of your day.

Exploring the Best Dive Sites Around Phuket

MV Kebsup operates dive trips to some of the best dive sites in southern Thailand, including the famous Racha Islands and Phi Phi Islands.

However, our focus goes beyond simply following the same crowded routes every day.

Instead, our experienced team plans trips around conditions, visibility, currents, and marine life activity. This flexibility allows us to explore different dive sites and often avoid the overcrowding seen on many larger shared boats.

Depending on weather and sea conditions, divers may visit sites such as:

  • Shark Point
  • Anemone Reef
  • Koh Doc Mai
  • Racha Noi
  • Racha Yai
  • Phi Phi Island dive sites
  • Local reefs around Phuket

As a result, every trip feels unique and gives divers the opportunity to experience the incredible marine biodiversity of the Andaman Sea.

Professional Diving Operations and Safety

At Aussie Divers Phuket, diver safety always comes first.

Over the years, our team has built a strong reputation for professionalism, organisation, and high safety standards across all PADI courses and diving day trips in Phuket.

MV Kebsup continues that same approach.

Our experienced instructors, divemasters, and boat crew work closely together to ensure every trip runs smoothly from start to finish. From equipment preparation and dive briefings through to diver recalls and emergency readiness, every part of the operation focuses on safety, comfort, and customer experience.

Because of our smaller guest numbers, our staff can also spend more time assisting individual divers both in and out of the water.

The History of MV Kebsup

MV Kebsup has operated in Phuket for more than 10 years and has become a well-known dive vessel throughout the Andaman region.

Originally built as a traditional Thai fishing boat, the vessel was specifically designed to handle local sea conditions around Phuket and the Andaman Sea. Later, the boat underwent a major transformation into a liveaboard dive vessel before eventually being refurbished again as a premium local day trip boat.

Today, MV Kebsup combines traditional Thai boat design with modern diving functionality and comfort.

The vessel features spacious dive areas, multiple relaxation decks, onboard dining facilities, and comfortable seating areas for guests throughout the day.

Most importantly, the boat continues to operate with a highly experienced Thai crew who know the local waters exceptionally well.

Why Divers Choose MV Kebsup

For divers searching for a premium dive boat in Phuket, MV Kebsup offers a more relaxed and enjoyable alternative to larger commercial dive operations.

With fewer divers onboard, guests enjoy:

  • More room to move around
  • Less waiting between dives
  • Easier equipment setup
  • Better customer service
  • Smaller dive groups underwater
  • A more relaxed atmosphere onboard

Combined with the professionalism of the Aussie Divers Phuket team, MV Kebsup delivers a premium Phuket diving experience designed around quality rather than quantity.
