I cannot recommend highly enough!

Once I had made the decision to continue my diving education and become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor I put a lot of research into finding the right PADI 5 Star IDC centre, knowing that both the centre and PADI Course Director I chose would have a big impact on my success and future Scuba career.

I was in Phuket and had discovered Aussie Divers online. After reading many glowing reviews I decided to book in for some fun dives, and to meet with the Course Director, Darren Gaspari, in person before making a final decision.

I found the whole set up and experience with Aussie Divers to be highly professional and after chatting with Darren, I knew that he would make the course not only hugely informative but also a lot of fun, and so decided there and then to book on to the September IDC and IE.

In fact the whole team at Aussie Divers could not be more welcoming and made me feel part of the family straight away.

I was advised to do the PADI IDC online learning before starting and this was definitely a big help, it gave me extra time to work on presentations and to study theory without getting burned out. I was pretty nervous starting the course but Darren and the rest of the Staff Instructor team were so supportive throughout, giving extra time and assistance to each individual student in any areas they were particularly struggling with.

When it came to the exam I thought that I would be a bundle of nerves but we had really been ‘over prepared’ for the IE so that on the day I felt 100% ready and knew that I could not only pass but pass with high marks. Kudos to Darren and his teaching skills for managing to make a nervous candidate that confident in herself!

So, I would like to send out a huge thank you to Darren, the best Course Director, and to the whole, awesome Aussie Divers team, for not only helping me achieve my PADI OWSI ticket and passing the PADI Instructor Exams with outstanding scores, but also for making it masses of fun at the same time.
