Have You Considered Scuba Diving?

Doing your PADI Open Water course is a great learning experience, opening up a whole new world to explore. PADI’s Open Water card is the most recognised dive certification in the world. The course takes 3 full days with the first day covering theory & pool practical lessons which can be done in Bangkok. The second and third days are then actual dives in the open water with your instructor. These dives can be done in Phuket or Koh Tao, any time after your pool sessions. Once you gain your PADI Open Water certification you can dive worldwide with a buddy or guide to a max depth of 18m.

Theory and Pool in Bangkok

Aussie Divers now offer the PADI Open Water Course theory & pool sessions in Bangkok. Then choose to finish the PADI course in ether Phuket or Koh Tao at one of our PADI 5 Star training centers. Theory can be done online with the PADI eLearning from the comfort of your own lounge. Alternatively we can arrange nightly theory sessions with one of our instructors in Bangkok. The pool session is available any day of the week at our centrally located pool training facility.

You can then complete your course in ether Phuket or Koh Tao at a time that suits you. With weekend accommodation & diving packages available.

Free Online Introduction Module

Still unsure about diving and what would be involved with the course?

Aussie Divers now offer’s a free online introduction module, with interactive PADI eLearning. This introduction module is the first of five required modules for the full Open Water course. This section of the theory covers what is involved in the course and learning to dive. Once completed you then have the option of continuing with the full Open Water course. Alternatively you can also opt for the introduction dive experience, the 1 day PADI Discover Scuba Diving.

Do I Need to Know How To Swim to Scuba Dive?

This is a question that I often get asked, and really it is not as simple as YES or NO. Here is some explanations and reasons why. If you want to become a certified scuba diver by doing the PADI Open Water Diver Course, the answer is yes. In the PADI Open Water Diver Course it is specified that you have to be able to swim continuously for 200 metres. This can be with any stroke however it does need to be continuous without stopping.
