On the 30th April 2016 PADI Regional Manager Andy Auer presented Aussie Divers Phuket with two prestigious PADI Awards. The first all be a bit belated was an award for Outstanding Contribution to the Diving Industry for the 2014 calendar year. National Park Fees introduced To Scuba Diving Phi Phi

The Thailand National Parks office informed the Phuket scuba diving industry on the 23rd March 2016 that they will be introducing a daily fee for divers entering the Phi Phi Islands national park. This is similar to what is currently in place for the liveaboard adventures that visit the Similan and Surin National Parks. This effectively means there will be a fee of THB 600 for every diver and THB 400 for every non-diver that visits Koh Phi Phi National Park. Spotted Eagle Rays a regular at Racha Noi Islands

Right now at Koh Racha Noi, Phuket, Thailand we are regularly seeing whist scuba diving the beautiful White Spotted Eagle Rays. These are majestic creatures that are not all that common to the area and if found are normally at Racha Noi and Racha Yai Islands which are about 30 km south of Phuket. Belonging to the same family as the awesome manta rays, Eagle rays grow up to a maximum size of five meters in length and three meters wide. These gentle rays are very curious and usually stick around checking out the divers.
