Welcome to Aussie Divers Phuket PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course page.

No matter what reason a wreck was sunk, either on purpose as an artificial reef for divers or the result of mishap, wrecks open amazing windows to the past. Most divers find wrecks wether they are ships, aeroplanes and even motor vehicles irresistible because they are fascinating to explore, exciting dives of discovery, and usually with an abundance of aquatic life. The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you the safe way to navigate around a wreck and responsible wreck diving for both your personal safety and the safety of you buddy.

The Fun Part

The best part of this course is getting down amongst the wrecks, discovering mysteries and starting to gain the knowledge and experience that allows you to see things that others overlook. Sometimes, only the trained, experienced eye recognizes that a small hole or open door likely caused the vessel’s demise.

What You Learn

  • The best techniques for diving exploring shipwrecks and the best way to avoid common hazards
  • Researching and obtaining information on the background of your favorite wrecks
  • Wreck scuba diving equipment considerations
  • Considerations and techniques for entering intact wrecks

Your Next Adventure

Many shipwrecks are often found in deeper water. That’s why the PADI Wreck Diver course is a natural companion to the PADI Deep Diver course. Sometimes you can take these two specialties concurrently.

Other training to consider is the PADI Enriched Air Diver course on your way to PADI Master Scuba Diver.

The best place to do your PADI Wreck Specialty Course is with Aussie Divers Phuket, Patong, Phuket, Thailand.

There is alternate option and that is you do a 300 metre mask, fin and snorkel swim. Some do find this easier to the 200 swim. You also have to be able to tread water or float for at least 10 minut [...]
