Here is a blog with what the Aussie Divers staff think what are the best dive sites in Phuket.
Between the dive sites in the day trip region of Phuket, the Southern Andaman and the Northern Andaman dive areas of the Similan and Surin Islands there are more than 100 different dive sites.
Here are some of the Aussie Divers Phuket staff with their views on what their favorite dive sites are.

National Park Fees for Phi Phi
The Thailand National Parks office informed the Phuket scuba diving industry on the 23rd March 2016 that they have introduced a daily fees for divers entering the Phi Phi Islands national park.
This is similar to what is currently in place for the liveaboard adventures that visit the Similan and Surin National Parks.
This effectively means there will be a fee of THB 600 for every diver and THB 400 for every non-diver that visits Koh Phi Phi National Park. Fees will be payable in cash on the boat when entering Phi Phi

Manta Ray Party Happening at Koh Bon, Similan Islands
Book yourself a liveaboard trip now as there is a Manta Ray party happening at Koh Bon.Koh Bon is situated 20 km north of the Similan Islands.
Divers are reporting of loosing count of the number of different manta rays circling the famous west ridge pinnacle. Some are say it is as many as 10 and others are saying more. All are saying that they are putting on an amazing show for all levels of scuba divers.

Killer Whale Spotted Off Patong
The Phuket Post reported that an Orca (Killer Whale) has been spotted off Freedom Beach, Patong on the 8th January 2016.
Freedom Beach is is situated near Tri Trang Beach on the southern edge of Patong Bay Phuket.
The Phuket Post wrote;
The Orca or Killer Whales can be found in all oceans, from Arctic and Antarctic regions to tropical seas.
