More Than the Minimum PADI IDC Requirements

The Aussie Divers PADI IDC Phuket program is conducted over a minimum of 12 days, giving candidates considerably more time for training, workshops and development than trying to squeeze instructor preparation into the shortest possible schedule.

That additional time is there for a reason.

Alongside the required IDC curriculum, we incorporate additional workshops, confined-water training and open-water practice designed to improve both your ability and your confidence as a developing instructor.

Additional workshops can cover areas such as CESA demonstrations, descents, lift-bag ascents, SMB deployment and other practical teaching and diving skills. We also incorporate additional confined-water and open-water teaching presentations, giving candidates more opportunities to practise, receive feedback and improve before their Instructor Examination.

Just as importantly, the schedule provides time for self-study, questions and additional explanations from the instructor development team.
