About the course
Ditch the backache and embrace streamlined diving with the PADI Sidemount Diver course! Sidemount diving offers superior comfort and flexibility compared to traditional backmount configurations, allowing for better trim, balance, and ease of movement underwater.
During the course, you’ll learn how to correctly configure and use sidemount equipment, refine your buoyancy control, and develop the skills needed to dive confidently with this increasingly popular setup.
The minimum course requirement is two days with three training dives, however at Aussie Divers Phuket we prefer to run the program over three days with six dives. This allows extra time to become comfortable with the equipment, practice proper trim and weighting, and really build confidence with the sidemount configuration.

Requirements:
Minimum age – 15+
PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)

What scuba gear will you use?
Aussie Divers Phuket will provide you with all the necessary equipment for your new scuba diving adventure such as a BCD and harness configured for sidemount diving along with cylinders, each with a regulator and SPG.
