PADI Divemaster & IDC?IE Phuket – October 2024 – Endorsement

When deciding to leave the corporate world and become a PADI dive professional I spent a long time researching different dive centers across South East Asia & Thailand, and my decision to go with Aussie Divers Phuket was undoubtedly the best decision I could’ve made. 

In my initial conversations with Darren and Ash I had a LOT of questions, they were patient and clearly explained everything in detail which put me completely at ease. From the minute I walked through the door I knew I had made the right choice, everyone was welcoming and I immediately felt part of the team. 

The PADI Divemaster course was challenging and rewarding, and I felt incredibly supported throughout the program. The diverse and experienced team provided me with invaluable insights, and by the end of the course, I felt like a true member of the Aussie Divers Phuket family.

I went straight on from Divemaster into my PADI IDC program and sat the PADI IE in Phuket, and the thorough training in my Divemaster was incredibly beneficial and made upskilling what I had learnt to Instructor level an easier transition. 

Darren and Guy have the patience of saints, and no question was too stupid to ask. Their feedback was thorough and constructive throughout and I progressed way beyond my expectations of what I could achieve at the start. 

Weeks of classroom presentations, practice exams and practical sessions in the pool and open water paid off and I felt confident and ready to take the PADI instructor examination – and we all passed!

They say all good things must come to an end, but I decided I didn’t want this one to, so after passing my PADI IE in Phuket I asked Darren if I could stay on and work for him – which happily for me he said yes. My time at Aussie Divers Phuket has been life-changing, and I wholeheartedly recommend Darren and the team to anyone considering a professional diving career. You’ll receive world-class training and learn from the best in the business at a busy dive center and make friends for life.
