Requirements
PADI IDC Program Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18+
- PADI Divemaster certification or equivalent
- At least 100 logged dives
- Dive medical within the last 12 months
- Certified diver for at least 6 months
- EFR/CPR First Aid within the last 24 months
- Required Swim Test: 800m snorkel swim (non-stop)

The PADI IDC Phuket program at Aussie Divers spans at least 12 days, exceeding the minimum requirement of 6-8 days, and includes additional workshops and training designed to boost your skills and confidence. These workshops are held in both the swimming pool, covering skills like CESA and descents, and in open water, focusing on exercises such as lift bag ascent and SMB use. Aussie Divers includes extra confined water and open water presentations to maximize your training experience. Throughout the course, you’ll have time for self-study and access to the team for further explanations, lectures, and practice sessions. This extended schedule is designed to ensure you fully understand the material while allowing you some time to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
Throughout the 12-day PADI IDC Phuket program, you will be continuously evaluated to track your progress and improve your abilities. By the time you reach your PADI Instructor Examination (IE) in Phuket, you’ll be confident and well-prepared to become a PADI Instructor.
