Hin Muang
Overview
Hin Muang is situated to the south of Phuket. It is currently only dived as a Southern Andaman Liveaboard adventure or a private speedboat booking.
Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are unofficially named as the best dive sites in the southern Andaman. The Thai translation of Hin Muang is purple rock and is named so because the rock is covered in soft purple corals. There is a great range of corals both hard and soft however the main attraction is the endless abundance and diversity of marine life. Regular visitors include Manta rays and Whale sharks and Harlequin shrimp. Highly recommended.
